Summer of Seven (07)
Where we stand…

This poll is an informal poll for visitors to my site. As I do not require registration there is no way for me to control anonymity or multiple answers. Judging from the traffic in my comments area to many replies should not be a problem (which is fine too, the idea is to think about these issues). As for anonymity, as long as you don’t identify yourself in any way you will be anon (well as anon as the internet allows anyway).

If you do choose to answer please just make a post in the comments area for this post. Thanks in advance for any responses you may leave.

I say throw out all the neocons, but realisticly even those guys are just puppets. So yes, I am for impeachment, but I doubt it would happen. Bush could say all Muslims and anti war people have to go into camps and he wouldn't get repremanded.

2. Will you vote in the 08 election?

Oh yes. I was laughing when people said 04' was the "most important election" ever, because with 9/11 wagging and the fear of "gay marriage", I knew Bush was going to win.

3. What is your voting record like? Religiously, When issues/candidates force me to, Just the presidential elections, Rarely, Never

Been voting since 1996

4. Do you feel that “Freedom of Speech Zones” are a constitutional constraint on our rights?

Yes

5. Do you believe that the official account of the events of 9/11 are accurate?

Well on the surface, I do believe four planes were hijacked by 19 naive brainwashed jihadis, and these four planes with passengers did strike wtc 1,2 pentagon and shanksville. And al Qaeda was "technically" the ones who carried it out, but I do not believe they masterminded it. I believe 9/11 has a state sponsor, which is Pakistan and Saudi Arabia on the surface. So no, the story of 9/11 has not been fully told in any way

6. Do you believe that the U.S. government, or elements within it, are responsible for the events of 9/11?

I would not be shocked to learn some purposefully handicapped NORAD and the FBI from doing their job, and covered for guilty states involved

7. Where do you go for news? T.V. , Internet, Periodicals, Radio, the girls at the salon ?

Internet

8. What station, channel, site, magazine/newspaper do you trust most, gossip?

all have good merits and bias

I think global warming is clearly real, Im just not sure its 100% manmade, and I see it being used to scare monger

I see a disturbing trend by the left to attack Christians, much like the right wingers attack Arabs. Sadly, it's made to seem like most Christians support Bush/the wars and or believe evolution is a hoax, but I don't believe that to be true

11. Which statement do you agree with:

f. Amnesty Now!

I feel Bush is wanting Mexicans to come in to use them for cheap labor and bring about the north american union

12. Should the U.S. be using mercenary armies abroad? At home?

We shouldnt be involved in wars based on contrivences, and we need our national guard for America.

13. What questions would you like to see asked in a future poll?

Any you feel are pressing

Thank you for your response waffletron. I find it very interesting that you made this observation. "I see a disturbing trend by the left to attack Christians, much like the right wingers attack Arabs. Sadly, it's made to seem like most Christians support Bush/the wars and or believe evolution is a hoax, but I don't believe that to be true"

I agree that this is truly a worthless generality. I have spoken with several "religious" voters that I met through this blog. Only one was a Bush Cheerleader all the others abhorred his administration.

I find that the religious voters often are far more in touch with politics than to reduce it to abortion/education alone. I also do not believe that all religious voters want to convert all the people of the world to their religion. I think the average church goer would prefer tolerance to crusading.

I think these generalities are all part of the problem myself. They divide us, the population, and this allows the politicos themselves to get away with falsification and the blurring of the truth.

Oops think I just slipped into rambling sorry, anyway thank you again and welcome to DRTC.
