I remember reading about gun/succession laws in some states several- maybe many years ago ---laws triggering succession if the Right to Bear Arms was ever lost. I think states should put trigger laws in about immigration. If the federal government can't protect our borders---perhaps states need to be allowed their own means to do so. If that were to diminish the powers of the federal government - so be it.
